Colour is your friend. Whether you like a little or a lot, you can make your outfit unique and classy by adding the right colors in the right places. Colours and shades that work for everyone include gold, silver, and bronze, so use these to your advantage. For instance, if you're wearing an all white outfit, a gold belt, shoes, or handbag could make all the difference. Or, if you're wearing an all-black outfit.I love shades like turquoise, maroon or red, or even shades of green to give me extra pop. Few weeks back, when the london weather turned mild and sunny, this is how i welcomed Spring....
Nothing makes an outfit stand out more than the right accessories. If you're wearing a simple outfit, a great belt, lovely pair of shoes, flashy necklace, or fashionable handbag will definitely get you noticed. If you're in professional clothing most of the time, adding an accessory or two will make your outfit more interesting. However, it's important to match the accessories with the outfit, so that your look will be both fashionable and appropriate. For instance, a big, chunky necklace may work great for day time or evening wear, but not for the office. Accessorizing is fun for me. Few months back, this is what i wore to meet up with some good friends of mine for lunch......Kept it simple....... Blazer -old from Zara White -Tee from H&M ,Bag- Zara ,Shoes -Zara.

MY RAINBOW SKIRT......~~~~ For some folks the color of love is Red ... fiery and hot, For others the color is Blue ... placid and calm, For some it's Yellow... caring but cautious, For others it's Orange ... rich and fruitful, For some the color is Lavender... gentle and kind, For others it's Purple... sacrificing and giving, For some it's Green ... with its go, go, go, For others the color is White ... pure and undefiled But for me the color is Rainbow ... Red and Blue, Yellow and Orange,Lavender and Purple,Green and White. The Rainbow painted by God is a symbol of forever-love, And as long as there is sunshine and rainthere will always be Rainbows, And as long as there are Rainbows there will always be forever-love for you.(Dick Innes) THANKS FOR PASSING BY.....
I love polka dots. Aside from florals and plain bold colours, it's definitely one of my favorite prints. Not only is the polka dot a classic pattern that is easy to mix and match, it's also a simple way to add a playful punch to your wardrobe. Not long ago(summer 2012) i deceided to find out Why is this print called polka dot? Well after reading and a few research sites,i find that there is a supposed relation to the origins of the polka dance! Apparently, the print was popular right when polka music and dancing were all the rage. Polka dots first became common on clothing in the late nineteenth century in the United Kingdom. This is how i styled my purple and black polkda dot. Thank you for passing by.

MY BRIGHT YELLOW DRESS
Summer 2012, i wore this bright yellow knee length dress to church. I love the colour, because its fresh and beautiful. I could have styled it with red accessories, but instead i used grey shoes from zara and this old fashioned purse from Tk maxx. My Necklace is from french connection and the dress was a bargain from primax. Remeber simplicity is the best. Thank u for passing by.....
Maxi dresses and skirts are versatile and can be worn a variety of ways.I love a great maxi being a maxi dress or maxi skirts. While maxi's oftentimes have a very Bohemian or Boho Chic feel, styling and accessorizing can really change the look of the ensemble as a whole.( Pictures are from summer 2012) Here is my maxi skirts and how i styled it. MY SUMMER COLOUR BLOCKING. Colour blocking is literally just that- wearing items of clothing that are one 'block' of colour each (usually solid, not printed) & together they make the perfect outfit! Basically, it's about using the colour wheel effectively. First locate the colour you want, & then find the colour directly opposite it- this is the direct complimentary colour. Basically it means these two colours are meant to be what people call 'clashing' colours but when used correctly can be pulled off (note: this can be hard though!) Your best bet is to go for colours all within the same ring- Thanks for passing by....
